Factory Direct Demo Slalom Ski Program Specifics
•D3’s Factory Direct Slalom Ski Trial Program provides skiers the ability to try a D3 model or multiple D3 models before purchasing! We will simply pre-authorize charges (hold funds) on your credit card in the amount of $600 “deposit” per ski and a $70 charge for “round trip” freight. The only thing that will be charged initially will be the $70 freight charge. If a ski is purchased at the end of the trial the $70 freight charge will be credited to the purchase of the ski.
•Try up to two (2) of our slalom skis in a single shipment. The Helix and Quest are both available. Bindings are not included in this trial program. We feel skis are best tested with a skier’s current bindings.
•The Trial Program is for continental United States customers only.
•Customers are responsible for the shipping charges to their location and return back to the Factory for a flat rate of $70. Express Shipping is available for your “outbound” trial for an additional charge. Please contact Customer Service at the phone number below for Express Shipping details. Additional express shipping charges will NOT be refunded IF the ski(s) are returned or purchased.
•D3 will provide a return shipping label with the shipment. The shipment will be sent out signature required; customer must sign for the delivery.
•Please take care in the un-packaging of the ski(s) as the plastic bag and bubble wrap need to be re-used for the return packaging of the ski(s).
You have three (3) weeks after receipt of the trial ski(s) to contact D3 Customer Service to complete the purchase or return of the trial ski(s).
If you want to purchase the trial program ski:
A trial ski sent to you which has never been used is $1,499.99 / Jr. Quest 62” $999.99. At this time your credit card will be billed for the full amount of the ski. Ground shipping is FREE (Express charges do not apply)
A trial ski sent to you which has previously been used is $1275.00 / Jr. Quest 62” $850.00. At this time your credit card will be billed for the full amount of the ski. Ground shipping is FREE (Express charges do not apply)
If you choose to return a PREVIOUSLY USED trial ski and purchase a new one:
To return the ski(s).
Re-package the ski(s) similar to how they were received using the plastic bag and bubble wrap to prevent damage. Please make sure that all the parts are put back in the box.
Attach the return shipping label to the box covering the original shipping label and drop the package off at the nearest staffed FedEx location.
Contact D3 Customer Service to complete the new ski purchase. At this time your credit card will be billed for the full amount of the ski. Ground shipping is FREE (Express charges do not apply)
If you choose to return the trial ski(s):
To return the ski(s).
Re-package the ski(s) similar to how they were received using the plastic bag and bubble wrap to prevent damage. Please make sure that all the parts are put back in the box.
Attach the return shipping label to the box covering the original shipping label and drop the package off at the nearest staffed FedEx location.
